Samantha Ting is a passionate and effective advocate for her clients. She always strives to keep her clients and their families fully informed of the court process and the status of their case. She works tirelessly to secure the best results for her clients and allow their voices to be heard.

Ms. Ting earned her Bachelor of Science from California State University, Sacramento. She then went on to earn her law degree from UC Davis School of Law. Since 2022, she has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at UC Davis Law School. Ms. Ting now teaches trial and courtroom advocacy, and critical skills like client counseling, negotiation, and public speaking to the next generation of lawyers.

As a criminal defense attorney, Ms. Ting has defended hundreds of clients charged with every kind of criminal offense - ranging from DUIs and resisting arrest to serious and violent felonies, including homicides. She has successfully avoided life sentences for many clients, using a variety of creative and innovative litigation strategies. Ms. Ting always strives to remain knowledgeable about the newest developments and changes in the law, so that she can use every legal avenue available to help her clients.

Born and raised in Sacramento, Ms. Ting is familiar with local judges and prosecutors, and has had significant success achieving positive outcomes for her clients. She is also familiar with common police practices and tactics in Northern California and surrounding areas, which makes her an effective opponent for local police agencies when departments and their agents overstep their constitutional bounds.
